Many coaches scream and shout, many wave their arms in frustration, but not Jenny Archer, the cool, calculating coach of the six times Paralympic gold medal winner David Weir.

Prior to Wimbledon winning the F.A. Cup in 1988, Jenny was invited by the manager Bobby Gould and his assistant Don Howe to join the football club as the full-time fitness coach. For the next few years her coaching techniques helped the club main its high place in football.

However, in recent times, it is Jenny’s association with David that has been in the spotlight and it is their combined success that has brought so much glory.
